Fajr fest screening time to be drawn soon

Showtime schedule for films running at Fajr Film Festival in Iran is set to be announced after a Wednesday draw.  

The draw will be conducted at Mellat cineplex in Iranian capital city of Tehran for movies to be screened at the 37th edition of Fajr Film Festival.

The results are due to be announced to the public after the draw wraps up.

A total of 22 feature films will compete in the main section of the event along with three animations and ten features in the New Look section dedicated to works by first-time directors. A collection of seven shorts also screens at the fest.

This year’s Fajr Film Festival will be held from January 30-February 11, 2019, commemorating the 40th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran.
